摘要：

Spectroscopic properties of some borate glasses containing 1-5%U0(3) have been studied in the fields of 700-1200 cm-1 and 10,000-30,000 cm-1 Absorption bands specific for U6+ and U4+ ions were observed. The increase of the melting time produces the reduction of U6+ ions to U4+.
