摘要：

1. 1. Five species of Chlorella examined were found to contain ergosterol as their major sterol. 2. 2. Present in smaller amounts were 22-dihydroergosterol, Δ7 ergostenol, and 5-dihydroergosterol. 3. 3. Under the conditions employed sterols made up approximately 0.2 per cent of the dry weight of the cells. 4. 4. All five species were similar with respect to sterols, qualitatively and quantitatively. © 1969.
