ABSOLUTE INFRARED INTENSITIES IN THE FUNDAMENTALS NU-2 AND NU-5 OF (CH3CL)-C-12-CL-35

摘要
The absolute intensities of 83 lines belonging to the ν2 and ν5 fundamentals of 12CH335Cl were measured in the range of 1313-1536 cm-1 using a dual beam tunable diode laser spectrometer. The intensities were analyzed by a three interacting band system, including, in addition to ν2 and ν5, the 2ν3 band to account for rather large Coriolis ν2 ν5 and Fermi ν5 2ν3 couplings; the fit to the experimental data yielded values of the dipole moment derivatives dμ dq2 and dμ dq5. The intensities were reproduced with an overall standard deviation of 3.2%, to be compared to a mean experimental uncertainty equal to 3.0%. The values derived for the band strengths of ν2 and ν5 are respectively 29.9 (0.9) cm-2 atm-1 and 39.7 (1.1) cm-2 atm-1 at 296 K. © 1991.
