摘要
This paper describes a facility for investigating the control and stability of exothermic reactions and the performance of relief systems in a pilot scale installation. A series of experiments is reported in which a simple exothermic reaction is shown to proceed under isothermal conditions, subcritical conditions (with some self-heating) and supercritical conditions leading to exothermic runaway.
