摘要
The self-diffusion of carbon in uranium monocarbide has been determined as a function of temperature in the range 1338-1772 °K. A simple radiotracer technique has been employed which monitors the change in surface activity as a function of annealing time. The following expression adequately represents the data over the entire range of temperature studied. D = 0.1 exp (-62 500/ RT) cm2/sec. © 1969.
