DERIVATION OF THE EQUATIONS OF MOTION OF INTERACTING PARALLEL EDGE DISLOCATIONS FROM A HAMILTONIAN

摘要
The collective motion of interacting parallel straight edge dislocation is investigated. It is shown that the equation motion of such a system can be cast into a canonical form. It leads to a global condition which can be applied for checking if the time step is small enough during the numerical integration of the equations of motion of the dislocations.
