摘要
The experimental data on the hydrogen absorption capacity of binary and pseudobinary intermetallic Laves phases, magnesium intermetallics, and mechanically alloyed mixtures of magnesium and 3-d metal oxides are subjected to analysis, on the basis of which it may be concluded that there is a qualitative correlation between the absorption capacity and the concentration of d-electrons in single-phase materials. For transition metals of the same period the absorption capacity is found to decrease with increasing d-electron concentration.
