摘要
Some research has been done dealing with the immobilization of microalgae for different purposes: morphology studies, the production of fine chemicals, energy production, wastewater treatment, etc. Immobilization of eucaryotic algae for sewage treatment has not been reported. In this paper, the immobilization of two different strains of microalgae for sewage treatment is described. The influence of the flow pattern of the reactor, the photosynthetic active radiation, the characteristics of the strain and the stability of the cells on the depuration efficiency of the system were studied. The efficiency of depuration was highest when natural radiation, a fluidized bed and Chlorella vulgaris were used in the experiments.
