摘要
The flow in a sliding externally pressurized rectangular gas bearing was investigated including the effects of lubricant inertia, which are usually ignored in the analysis of rectangular bearings. It is shown that the lubricant inertia has a detrimental effect on the load-carrying capacity of the bearing. © 1979.
