FERMIOLOGY AND THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF KAPPA-(ET)(2)I-3

摘要
Measurements of the de Haas - van Alphen (dHvA) effect, the complex susceptibility and the specific heat, C, of kappa-(ET)(2)I-3 are reported. The strong harmonic content of the dHvA signal and the upper critical field, B-c2, following the angular dependence of thin films as described by the Tinkham formula reveal the almost perfect two-dimensionality of this compound. The specific heat shows a jump nt T-c consistent with BCS. Some deviations in the temperature dependence of C might be explained bf strong coupling.
