摘要
The interaction of the cholecystographic agent Iopronic acid with cytochrome P-450 from rat liver microsomes has been examined in the light of the hydrophobic properties and of the nucleophilic and steric features of the molecule. The lipophilic character and binding parameters with cytochrome P-450 (ΔA max, Ks) of Iopronic acid and some selected congeners were analyzed and these showed that the intrinsic lipophilic nature and the steric parameters of the molecule play key roles in determining the type of binding and the affinity with which the compound interacts with cytochrome P-450. © 1979 The Italian Pharmacological Society.
