摘要
One- and two-photon excitation profiles for chlorophyll a emission in thylakoid membranes of Phaeodactylum tricornutum are reported. Active two-photon response is revealed with excitation in the carotenoid spectral region. Interpretations are given in terms of alternative descriptions of in vivo carotenoid electronic states. © 1990.
