摘要
The transformation of passive films during the transient from passivity to transpassivity of iron-chromium alloys was studied using cyclic voltammetry, ellipsometry and XPS. Furthermore stress was laid on the understanding of the reduction processes which leads to breakdown of passivity. The current maxima which are present in the cyclic voltammograms were unravelled and are related to separate oxidation and reduction reactions of the pure components. © 1990.
