摘要
The conductivity tensor sigma of MnBi(Al) is derived from Kerr spectra together with reflectivity and transmissivity measured in the 0.8-5 eV energy range at room temperature. The omega-sigma(xy)" spectrum exhibits a double peak structure similar to ferromagnetic transition metals. The large Kerr effect is deduced to be due to the interband transitions of Mn3d and Bi6p electrons.
