摘要
Magnetic polarons formed by holes in semimagnetic quantum wells are studied theoretically. The theory is based on the formalism of the pseudospin and the anisotropic g-factor tenser of the hole. It yields the direction of the total moment and energy of the polaron as functions of external magnetic fields. Polarization characteristics of light- and heavy-exciton luminescence are shown to be strongly influenced by the magnetic polaron formation.
