摘要：

A new reducing system is described wherein calcium metal in methylamine-ethylenediamine reduces simple aromatics cleanly to monoolefins. It is also disclosed that reduction rate and product selectivity are greatly enhanced in the calcium hexammine-ether system by the addition of small amounts of HMPA. © 1979, American Chemical Society.
