摘要：

Behavior therapy is a psychotherapy method with unique qualities from a risk-management standpoint. The authors discuss some of these aspects, including directiveness, replicability, use of lay cotherapists, exposure treatments, and boundary issues. Attention to these and other features of behavior therapy will reduce medicolegal risks in this treatment method.
