摘要：

There have been many different suggestions in the literature as to how to generate exact choices on the basis of fuzzy preferences. This paper seeks to provide axiomatic support to one of these choice functions (due to Orlovsky). It is shown that under a transitivity restriction independent of max-min transitivity this choice function implies and is implied by a set of simple conditions.
