摘要
Non-equilibrium vibrational distributions of H2 in magnetic multicusp plasmas have been calculated by using a previously developed kinetic model combined with recent sets of rate coefficients involving electrons and heavy particles. A comparison of theoretical results with recent experimental vibrational distributions shows satisfactory agreement, indicating a fair amount of confidence in both the model and the input data.
