摘要
An FM telemetering system capable of being carried on the back of a free swimming fish is described. The transmitter can be turned on and off with a hand-held magnet and has a useful life of more than 135 hours of continuous operation. The electrocardiogram from the rainbow trout was telemetered from an aquarium to a nearby laboratory table. The effects of MS-222 and Urethane on heart rate are discussed. Problems encountered in the placement of the electrocardiogram leads are discussed. Artifacts due to opercular movements and effects of MS-222 and Urethane are interpreted.
