摘要
A rapidly converging, iterative method of curve fitting, based on maximum likelihood theory utilizing either Gaussian or Poisson statistics, is presented. The technique is illustrated by application to the sum of two exponentials with constant background. The relevance of the standard deviations obtained from the error matrix is investigated for this particular case. © 1968.
