A QUANTITATIVE TEST OF MICROSCOPIC WAVE FUNCTIONS BY ANTISYMMETRIZED DWBA

摘要
Exchange effects in (p, p′) scattering are found to yield very large and strongly energy-dependent renormalizations of the cross section. The antisymmetrized DWBA using a free low-energy nucleon-nucleon force and no adjustable parameter gives a test of micriscopic models similar to the electron-scattering analysis or the impulse approximation for the lowest 3- and 5- states of 40Ca. The experimental magnitude of the cross sections is correctly obtained at three different energies (20.3, 30 and 55 MeV) when using RPA wave functions. © 1969.
