摘要：

An experimental investigation of Nd:YAG unstable laser resonators with super-gaussian reflectance output couplers has been performed. All resonators were characterized by the same geometrical magnification and losses, the only difference being the reflectance profile of the output mirror. The analysis has shown that the output energy increases with the super-gaussian order, together with a moderate spreading of the energy out of the central lobe in the far-field pattern. In comparison with standard unstable configurations, super-gaussian resonators have superior performances both in terms of output energy and beam quality. © 1990.
