MAGNETIC INTERMEDIATE VALENCE BEHAVIOR IN THE SERIES (CEXLA1-X)BE13

摘要
The low-temperature demagnetisation which characterises the intermediate valence rare earth intermetallics has been found to occur in the (Ce xLa1-x)Be13 compounds at least in the range 0.007<or approximately=x<or=1. The characteristic temperature T SF increases nonlinearly in that range from about 20 to 200K. The results agree with lattice parameter measurements and confirm previous EPR data which tracks the intermediate valence state down to x=0.0023.
