ANALYSIS OF BENTAZONE HERBICIDE BY FORMATION OF THE METHYL DERIVATIVE IN THE GAS-LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPH USING TRIMETHYLANILINIUM HYDROXIDE

摘要
When bentazone herbicide is injected into the gas-liquid chromatograph together with trimethylanilinium hydroxide, it reacts to yield a methylated derivative with good gas-chromatographic properties. This derivatization technique allows a rapid qualitative and quantitative chromatography of this pesticide. Standard deviations were about ±1%. © 1990 Springer-Verlag.
