摘要
1. 1. Hybrid haptoglobin molecules were prepared by combination of porcine-β with human α-subunits and porcine-a with human-β respectively. 2. 2. The hybrids, preparations of native human and porcine haptoglobins, control haptoglobins submitted to the same procedure as in hybrid formation, and haptoglobin-hemoglobin complex were labeled with [125I] and administered to pigs. 3. 3. Clearance rate of particular preparations was studied by the determination of radioactivities of hybrids, haptoglobins or the complex isolated by affinity chromatography on Sepharose. 4. 4. Half-life times of the hybrids and of the complex were found to be significantly shorter than those of native or control homologous proteins. 5. 5. Clearance rate was not correlated with a degree of desialylation of the examined preparations. © 1979.
