摘要
The epoxidation of cyclohexene using CrO3/TBHP gave cyclohexene oxide, cyclohexenol and cyclohexenone in the ratio 3:1:40. The nature of the solvent affects the yield of the product. Pyridine, imidazole, NaH2PO4 and surfactants were found to have negative effects on the yield of epoxide while sodium bicarbonate increases the yield of the epoxide. The relative rate of epoxidation of cyclic olefins was norbornene > cycloheptene > cyclooctene > cyclopentene > cyclohexene. © 1990.
