摘要
In the mixed perovskite ferroelectric KTa1-xNbxO3 (KTN), the nature of the observed phase transitions changes with varying Nb concentration, x. We have studied the phase transitions in KTN for two significantly different concentrations (15.7% and 1.2% Nb) by means of dielectric constant and Raman measurements. The appearance of the first-order TO2 and TO3 Raman lines reveals lattice distortions occurring at temperatures Tcl and Tc2 respectively. The symmetry change caused by these distortions, as well as their spatial extent, is shown to depend on the niobium concentration. © 1991, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
