摘要：

Two aspect of a Veneziano-type formula with logarithmic trajectories, proposed recently by Coon, are discussed: (1) the formula can not be used to construct an amplitude which is crossing symmetric and Regge behaved in all channels, (2) the odd daughter trajectories can not be eliminated by a restriction on the trajectory functions as in the Veneziano model. The second point is further illustrated by applying Coon s modification of the Veneziano formula to the Virasoro amplitude. © 1969.
