摘要
Edge elements are a good way of approximating vector fields in 3D, time-harmonic eddy-current problems, because they allow for abrupt changes in permeability and conductivity. However. in non-conducting regions, it is more efficient to use a scalar potential. By using fictitious currents in the conductors, a new scalar-vector method is able to solve current-driven problems, without cuts or extra circuit equations. Results are given for the skin effect in an infinite slab of conductor; a conducting cylinder immersed in a uniform magnetic field; and the Bath cube. © 1990 IEEE
