摘要
As a step towards a rigorous control of the continuum limit for Wilson's gauge theories on the lattice, we study the problem of removing the compactification of field variables. In the specific examples we consider (the plane rotator and the massive vector field) we not only recover the expected Gaussian limit on the lattice, but also give strong results towards the direct recovery of the continuum limit. © 1979 The American Physical Society.
