ON THE PRODUCTION OF A NARROW PI-NN RESONANCE IN LOW-ENERGY PIONIC DCX ON HE ISOTOPES

摘要
We estimate the cross section for the production of a narrow isoscalar 0(-) pi NN resonance (d(1)) in the pionic double charge exchange (DCX) on He-3 and He-4. The resonance parameters used are those obtained from a recent analysis of DCX data on light and medium-heavy nuclei. The calculations agree very favourably with presently available low-energy data for He-4.
