摘要
An original device to measure bulk solids volumetric flowrate, bulk solids flowrate turbine meter (BSFTM), has been investigated experimentally and theoretically. The influence of the turbine geometry and materials measured on the turbine performance are discussed. A simple model for describing the turbine performance is proposed, and an equation for governing the velocity of solids flow and rotation rate of the turbine is obtained by analyzing the movement of solids and that of turbine. A selected turbine was also used to measure the solids recirculating flowrate in a circulating fluidized bed. It has been shown to be a simple method to measure solids flowrate through standpipes.
