摘要
In this paper Fourier transform Raman spectroscopy using Ti:Sapphire excitation at 780 nm instead of the normally used Nd:YAG excitation at 1064 nm is described. The advantages of the former as compared to the latter lie in the field of water-based samples, heated samples and in the avoidance of self-absorption of organic liquids. A disadvantage, however, is the still unacceptable level of fluorescence.
