摘要
Flash photodissociation of Cl2 in Kr, and Cl2, Br2 or I2 in Xe, leads to transient UV absorption bands attributed to contact charge-transfer interaction between ground-state rare-gas and halogen atoms. With XeCl or XeBr strong, narrowband absorptions occur precisely at the rare-gas halide excimer laser wavelengths. © 1979.
