摘要
An algebraic solution is given to calculate the total dispersion coefficient for a step-index fundamental-mode waveguide at any normalised frequency in the range 2·5 > v > 1·5. Examples are shown about the dispersion minimum for germanium-doped silica fibres. © 1979, The Institution of Electrical Engineers. All rights reserved.
