摘要
This paper describes the results of a comparative study of different support media (sand, pumice and sintered glass) in anaerobic expanded bed reactors. Two different synthetic wastewaters were used; one based on ice cream, the other on acetic acid. The results showed that porous media were colonised better than non-porous material. The data also showed that inhibitory effects, in this case by components in the ice cream wastewater, were less severe when the media had a greater porosity.
