摘要
A series of new optically active gamma-lactones were synthesized. The relationship between molecular structures and induced spontaneous polarization of optically active gamma-lactones and delta-lactones has been investigated. The molecular shapes of chiral dopants, especially the alkyl chains extending from a lactone ring, were found to play important roles in the generation of spontaneous polarization.
