摘要：

A case is presented of a 35-year-old woman with proven Sheehan's syndrome requiring anaesthesia for Caesarean section at the end of a second pregnancy. She showed signs of adrenocortical insufficiency before anaesthesia. Sheehan's syndrome is briefly reviewed and the management of anaesthesia in patients with this condition is discussed. © 1968 John Sherratt and Son Ltd.
