摘要
1. 1. Smooth dogfish sharks, Mustelus canis, thermoregulating behaviorally in an electronic shuttlebox preferred a mean temperature of 27.1°C, with a mid-day peak of 28.0°C and crepuscular minima of 25.9°C (dawn) and 26.4°C (dusk). 2. 2. These sharks thermoregulated with the same degree of precision shown by bony fishes. 3. 3. Such precise thermoregulation has not previously been reported for any elasmobranch species. © 1979.
