THE EFFECT OF POLYMER ADDITIVES ON THE BUBBLE BEHAVIOR AND IMPULSE PRESSURE

摘要
A theoretical study of the behavior of a spherical bubble in polymer solutions has been performed. The rheological properties of the polymer solutions were approximated by the Williamson model. The equation of bubble oscillation, the equation of the natural frequency of the bubble and the pressure equation are derived. The bubble radius time history, the equilibrium and critical radii of the bubble and the pressure at the bubble wall in PEO solution, PAM solution, CMC solution and water are obtained by numerical calculations.
