FADDEEV EQUATIONS WITH A SUM OF SEPARABLE AND NON-SEPARABLE POTENTIALS

The two-body T-matrix for the sum of a seperable potential V and a non-separable potential V′ is shown to be the sum of the T-matrix for V′ and a separable term with energy-dependent form factors. The Faddeev equations then reduce to a set of coupled Lippmann-Schwinger type equations. Resolvent identities are used to develop a perturbation theory for expanding the three-body T-matrix, bound-state wave functions and binding energies in powers of V′. Some examples are discussed. © 1969.
