摘要
The utilization of the thermal explosion process for the synthesis of iron aluminide is demonstrated. For achieving high density of Fe3Al body, the application of pressure during the spontaneous ignition of the compact is emphasized. Comparisons are made of the products formed with and without application of pressure under thermal explosion conditions.
