摘要
A self-similar accretion model is posed in the limit of vanishing accretional velocity, due to a slight viscosity acting on the orbital motion. An equation for the angular velocity is derived from simple dynamical considerations, and solved numerically. The nature and necessary uniqueness of the solution are discussed and the assumption of negligible velocity found to be self-consistent. The solution is found to require a definite variation of angular momentum in order to balance inward and outward transport, and that this variation is not amenable to choice of boundary condition at infinity. Finally the convective stability of the resultant class of solutions is discussed. © 1981 Royal Astronomical Society.
