摘要
The influence of the refractive index of spherical particles on the determination of their size distribution is clearly shown by a direct comparison of the particle size distribution obtained when considering the diffraction pattern alone with that obtained by adding the effects of geometrical optics, i.e. refraction and reflection. Moreover, it is shown both theoretically and experimentally (by means of a Malvern 2600) that it is possible to establish a more accurate particle size distribution by taking into account the contribution of geometrical optics on the diffraction pattern. © 1990.
