摘要
A randomised double-blind crossover study was performed in 48 patients with stable effort-induced angina pectoris to assess the antianginal and anti-ischaemic effects of 2 different controlled-release formulations of isosorbide-5-mononitrate (5-ISMN): 30mg 5-ISMN Durules(R) (Imdur(R)/Coleb-Duriles(R)) and the 40mg 5-ISMN tablet (Corangin(R)). Bicycle exercise tests were performed 4 hours postdose at the end of each 2-week treatment period. Time to end of exercise (means: 386 vs 366 seconds) and time to onset of angina (means: 313 vs 295 seconds) were significantly longer during treatment with 30mg 5-ISMN Durules(R) than during treatment with the 40mg 5-ISMN tablet.
