摘要
A flexible silastic tube encased by a polyurethane foam-dampening medium was employed to study frictional losses in straight tubing and the effect of the system on a ball-type valve. Reduction in the frictional loss was noted and a maximum effect of the valve was noted several feet downstream from the valve. © 1969, American Chemical Society. All rights reserved.
