摘要
Both propene polymerization and ethylene/propene copolymerization were conducted with an Al2O3-supported CpTiCl3 (Cp: cyclopentadienyl) catalyst using a common alkylaluminium as cocatalyst. The catalyst system gave atactic polypropene with frequently inverted propene units which are randomly distributed over the polymer chain. The structure of poly(ethylene-co-propene) produced with the catalyst system was found to be very different from that obtained with ordinary titanium based catalysts.
