DYNAMICS OF THE HYDROGEN-ATOMS IN LANI5H GREATER-THAN-OR-EQUAL-TO 3.0 STUDIED BY SLOW-NEUTRON SCATTERING

摘要
The diffusion coefficient for hydrogen in LaNi5Hx, 3.0 < x < 6.75, has been measured for various temperatures. It appears to be of the order 10-6 cm2/s and approximately follow the Arrhenius law. A pronounced anomaly in the Debye-Waller factors for the hydrogen motion has been observed for the quasi-elastic scattering at small wave-vector transfers. © 1979.
