摘要：

The author describes an accurate method of calculating the attenuative effect of two cascaded thin screens on the sound from a point source. The formula was derived empirically from data obtained from model experiments at 5 kHz and 10 kHZ using tone-burst techniques to elmininate unwanted reverberation.
